Well, we did not have much of a summer, but we do usually have a nice fall to look forward to. This is an excellent time to plant a fall vegetable garden. We have a nice selection of vegetables such as: brocoli, cauliflower, cabbages, onions, kale, cilantro and much more. Don't forget to feed at planting time. We recommend Gardner & Bloome Tomato & Vegetable Fertilizer. Also, local garlic has just arrived, including the regular white "Soft Neck" and "Western Rose (with a nice sharp flavor) and one variety of hardneck garlic called "Purple Glazer". This variety is easy to peel and wonderful for baking. Soft neck garlic store the best and excellent for braiding.
Check out the sale page for some September specials. There are some select native shrubs on sale. We are also having a closeout sale on some of our concrete products. Check out the flyer.
This is a locally made redwood arbor seat. Wouldn't it look wonderful tucked into your garden. Fill it with a few colorful cushions and you have a comfy retreat.
Just arrived are the very popular tillandsias on grape wood. They look awesome on the gnarly wood. These are living plants that need bright light and regular watering. They can even survive outside with some winter protection.
Make washing the dishes fun for you or your kiddies with these colorful flower scrubbers. They would even be handy in the garden shed to scrub dirty pots.
Now that we are moving into August, many of the summer blooming daisies are showing their colors. The Black Eyed Susans are just staring to pop along with some gorgeous Echinaceas and Coreopsis. Take a look below at some of the varieties we have in stock. See you in the nursery.
