Miller Farms began landscaping around Humboldt County in the early 1960`s. During that time, construction design and techniques were somewhat primitive. A basic design consisted mainly of lawn with irrigation crafted from galvanized piping with threaded fittings. Junipers and rhodies were the main choice for planting. All of this was installed by manual labor and a farm tractor.
As the years passed, new technology, equipment, and theories in design have changed greatly.
